CURTAIN UP! DRAMA AND MAGIC

SOCIAL MEDIA & CONTENT CREATION IN BANGKOK

In 2024 I volunteered with Curtain Up Drama and Magic in Bangkok as they went through a rebrand. Using their new logo and brand assets, I created a wide range of print materials, social media posts, and adverts.

POSTERS & PRINT

'4 Classes, 1 Course' homeschool poster with labeled performance photos. 'WE ARE OPEN' poster in black & yellow with activity graphics. Studio open day poster with blob-shaped photos of performances and event info.
'WE ARE OPEN' poster in pink with activity icons. Bright orange 'Show in a Week' poster with brand stripes and photos arranged like a daisy.

With references, briefs, and direction, I approached the brand from two angles, for two demographic groups.

The first appeals to children and parents through bold colour, expressive graphics, and theatrical visuals.

The second appeals to Bangkok’s artistic and social scenes with a more minimal style, inviting audiences to bring their own ideas into the space. This was a new direction as Curtain Up began renting studios for events and performances.

This required two distinct sets of printed materials, as shown by these trifold designs.

Colourful trifold for teen creative classes, with performance photos and brand graphics. Minimal trifold promoting open studio rental, with photos of the space and contact details.

Below is a selection of digital artworks I created for the reception area, blending with the bold colours, mirrors, and plants to add intrigue and sophistication.

Abstract boho-style vector art with arched lines and a central circle.
Minimal abstract Y-shaped design with brand stripes and circular accents. Three overlapping grey shapes with wave-like white line details. Segmented pill shapes with a centered circle, laid out vertically. Grey geometric composition with an off-center rectangle and circular accents.

Using their updated logo and pattern elements, I explored bold, creative alternatives in Illustrator beyond the basic logo tee.
